When doing a workout for your legs it is important to warm up and stretch before the workout. Spend 5-10 minutes doing light cardiovascular activity such as walking or biking to get your blood flowing.
It is also just as important to cool down after a workout. Just like the warm up, spend 5-10 minutes stretching after your finish your workout. Or perform 5-10 minutes of light cardio to cool down after a tough workout.
Warming up and cooling down, help you to get the most out of the workout and also decreases the risk of injury or soreness.
